Before you start!
Make sure you have the correct Can Bus plugs for your trucks year. We HIGHLY, extra emphasis on HIGHLY, recommend getting your plugs from a trusted manufacturer. Yes there are some available for cheaper on sites like Amazon or eBay, but you really do get what you pay for. Our recommendation for your 17-19 Duramax is the FISH Tuning Can Bus plugs available here. These are the plugs we use for our customers and in the photos below.

Located in the top right of the engine bay
Plug 2 (Large Plug)
Located inside the frame on the front passenger side
Plug 3
Located outside of the frame on the passengers side
Plug 4
Located inside the frame behind the read passenger wheel
